Overview LiberNovo stands behind the quality of the LiberNovo Omni chair with a comprehensive warranty. This policy outlines the coverage and process for warranty claims.
Warranty Coverage
- Duration:
- Chair Frame (Excluding Electronic Components): LiberNovo offers a 5-year limited warranty on the chair frame, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Electronic Components (Battery, Actuator, and Related Wiring): A 2-year limited warranty applies to electronic components, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Warranty Period: The warranty period begins on the date the customer receives the product, as verified by the delivery receipt.
- Coverage:
- Under normal use, if a quality issue arises due to non-human factors (e.g., manufacturing defects), LiberNovo Singapore will provide free repair or replacement of the defective parts.
- Modular Components: If modular components such as the base, the seat base with armrests, backrest support bar, backrest, gas lift, or neckrest become defective during the warranty period, LiberNovo Singapore will:
- Ship replacement modular parts directly to the customer at no cost.
- Provide instructional videos to guide customers through the replacement process, ensuring easy and efficient repairs.
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., fabric fading, minor scratches).
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or failure to follow assembly/use instructions.
- Damage due to unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Damage caused by extreme environmental conditions (e.g., prolonged exposure to sunlight, high humidity, or corrosive environments).
- Damage resulting from natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, fires).
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers.
- Issues arising after the warranty period expires (though paid repair services may be available).
Warranty Claims Process
- Submit a Claim: Whatsapp our Customer Support team with your order number, proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos/videos of the defect.
- Evaluation: We will determine if the defect is covered under warranty. This process may take up to 5 business days.
- Resolution: If approved, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the defective part at no cost to you.
- Replace the defective part or the entire product with a comparable item.
- If repair or replacement is not feasible, we may issue a prorated refund based on the product’s age.
Warranty Limitations
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- LiberNovo Singapore is not liable for incidental or consequential damages (e.g., loss of use, property damage).
- To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties (e.g., merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose) are limited to the duration of this warranty.
